Keyia Yalcin is the owner of Fishnet Restaurant & The Yalcin Group. Born in Baltimore, Keyia attended Howard University with a Business degree in hospitality management and also Georgetown University, with a Master’s in Real Estate Development. This love of restaurants and real estate reflects Keyia’s deep desire to create communities that are nourished and sustainable in every sense. It was opening Fishnet in 2011 with her husband that made Keyia fall in love with the memory making magic that is the restaurant business. Fishnet has a location in Baltimore City and also a food truck. Keyia is currently a board member of Baltimore Educational Scholarship Trust. Alongside her entrepreneurial pursuits, nothing inspires Keyia more than time spent with her husband Ferhat, their two girls and their cadre of plants and pets.
